Our mission is to be the presence of God in community; loving, guiding, healing. Mount Carmel United Methodist Church is a community of people committed to Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, united in the love of God, and called to make that love real to others.
We don’t just talk about these things – we do them! As a community of fellowship and faith we declare who Jesus is, and who we are as Jesus' followers. We do this by engaging in acts of love, compassion and charity. We seek out the friendless and embrace them through ministries of service and compassion. We seek out those who are helpless or powerless and advocate for them through ministries of justice and mercy. We look for those around us who are in emotional, physical, or spiritual pain and bring them comfort. We look for those who are physically or spiritually hungry and prepare for them a feast.
